July, 4th 1776



Independence means Freedom. July 1776 is the  first independence day of America. Before 1776 American colonies were ruled by British leaders.  They had to do what British rulers told them to do. American Leaders could not make up their own laws. Congress leaders wanted to change this. A Declaration on Why the 13 American Colonies Should Separate from Great Britain was written and approved by Congress on July 2, 1776, but was declared to the public on July 4.. America was Finally free. A few years later in 1787 the American Constitution was written. Freedom of speech and religion include this.


The 4th of July is a public holiday in all 50 states of America and people celebrate this day with enthusiasm. The whole Country comes together to hug  displays of Patriotic celebration on this day. Family and friends with outdoor gathering. During this holiday weather of the country is usually good and people like to do outdoor picnics, barbecues and house's parties . Citizens like to dress in the red blues and White of the color of American Flag. We can hear the national anthem, ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ proudly sung on this time all over the country. Hot dogs, chips, burgers  and fries and some more popular foods eaten on independence day with different kinds of alcohol. Independence day is one of the most celebrated occasions in the US and around 85% of Americans say they plan to commemorate it somehow.
